EXPANDING BHUTAN’S AVIAN HORIZONS

Our Accomplishments

We take immense pride and honor in our contributions to Bhutan’s rich biodiversity through our years of dedicated birding tours. Over time, our commitment and passion for avian exploration have led to the discovery of three remarkable bird species, each of which is now officially recognized as part of Bhutan’s avifaunal records. These groundbreaking sightings occurred during our carefully curated birding expeditions alongside our valued clients, highlighting not only the success of our tours but also the collaborative spirit of exploration and discovery that drives us.

We are honored and proud to have contributed three new bird species to Bhutan

Heuglin’s Gull

We share the credit for all these sightings with our clients, as it was a team effort that contributed to the country’s birdlife.

In December 2023, we were delighted to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from the State of India’s Birds for our contributions to the Birds Report 2023. This recognition was based on our eBird checklists, which helped assess the distribution range, trends in abundance, and conservation status of 942 bird species in India.
